HARARE — Dancehall star Winky D will headline this year’s Castle National Braai Day, which is set to take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Glamis Arena in Harare.
The annual celebration will bring together music, food and entertainment, with gates opening at 11am and festivities running until late.
Winky D will be joined on the main stage by Mr Putiti EXQ, Nutty O, Enzo Ishall and Chillspot Records, while Tammy Moyo, Jnr Spragga and Atenda Chinx are also scheduled to perform.
The entertainment line-up will be complemented by an all-star DJ cast featuring DJ L-Roy, Nikki, MadeHerBelieve, DJ Nospa, DJ Storm, DJ Loz, DJ Andreas and DJ Liz.
Organisers said this year’s event would run under the theme “Live It. Feel It. Share It.”, celebrating Zimbabwe’s love for meat, music and social gatherings.
A major attraction for revellers will be the allowance of empty cooler boxes into the venue, with free ice to be made available inside.
The event will be strictly for people aged 18 and above, with organisers encouraging patrons to drink responsibly.
The event is being supported by Liquid Home, Texas Meats, Gold Star and BlackBox.
Organisers summed up the spirit of the celebration by saying: “It all comes together with a Castle.”
