Geo Pomona has joined hands with local residents, Environmental Management Agency (EMA), City of Harare and residents lobby organization, The Zimbabwe National Organization of Associations and Residents Trust (ZNOART) in a clean up awareness campaign launched in Harare’s Budiriro suburb at Current Shopping Centre.
Said Geo Pomona in a statement:
“We have launched the Clean Communities and Behavioral Change Campaign at Current Shopping Centre, Budiriro.
“Together with local residents, EMA, ZNOART, and the City of Harare, we are taking action to tackle illegal dumping, adhere to waste collection schedules, and build sustainable habits”.
Geo Pomona said the campaign which is running for the next three months,will be cascading to other hot spots suburbs in the city.
“This 3-month campaign is moving across Harare hotspots, including Budiriro, Mbare, Mabvuku, and Glen View, to drive real, long-term change.
Let’s keep the momentum going! Reduce , Reuse and Recycle.”
