A Shamva based woman is in soup after she allegedly murdered her husband’s girlfriend in a jealous rage.
Enita Kaukonde was dragged to Shamva magistrate and was not asked to plead to the charge before being remanded in custody.
The court alleged on June 5 , Kaukonde went to Government farm in Shamva where she met Betty Kasamba and accused her of having an extra marital affair with her husband Nelson Kavira.
She poured some petrol on Kaukonde before setting her alight.
Fire engulfed her prompting Katavire and his sister to undress the victim in a bid to avoid further burns.
The victim was rushed to hospital where she later succumbed to the burns.
