The State of Palestine has strongly and unequivocally condemned the egregious actions of Israel, which it says have resulted in the martyrdom of at least 97 Palestinians and the injury of over 230 since the commencement of the ceasefire on 11 October,2025.

The state of Palestine said the flagrant breaches of international humanitarian law are a stark reminder of Israel’s blatant disregard for human life and its continued pursuit of genocide crimes against unarmed civilians.

The state said the actions constitute a grave breach of the agreement and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law. The State of Palestine said the Israeli military has violated the truce agreement at least 80 times, demonstrating a clear disregard for the ceasefire and a commitment to ongoing aggression. Palestine said the documented violations include direct gunfire targeting civilians, airstrikes, deliberate and specific targeting of individuals and areas, the creation of “fire belts” in civilian areas, and the arrest of civilians.

Ambassador Tamer Almassri, Palestine Ambassador to Zimbabwe has reiterated that Israel’s actions unequivocally demonstrate its lack of interest in peace. The Ambassador said instead, Israel seems hell-bent on continuing its relentless assault and genocide on defenseless Palestinian civilians. He said such belligerent behavior by Israel and its fascist leaders proves, yet again, that it is an entity that thrives on warmongering and the systematic destabilization of the Middle East.

The Ambassador said Israel has escalated its war plans by closing all crossing points into Gaza for humanitarian aid. He said the calculated move directly impedes the delivery of essential supplies to a population facing catastrophic conditions, further illustrating a policy of collective punishment against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Ambassador said in light of the atrocities, the State of Palestine urgently renews its call upon the international community to immediately hold Israel accountable for its grave breaches of the truce, its violations of international humanitarian law, and its ongoing genocidal crimes against the Palestinian people. He said the world must act decisively to stop Israel’s relentless aggression and ensure justice for the victims.
