Despite a reduced rainfall activity pattern, the national dams average level has increased to 75.4 percent.
Said Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) in an update:”
Dam levels as of February 5, 2025. Water levels in the country’s major dams remain on an upward trend, although at a slowed pace due to the reduced rainfall activity in some parts of the country.”
” The national dam level average now stands at 75. 4%. There have been notable changes in dams such as Manjirenji, Siya, Mwenje, Masembura and Arcadia.”
Some dams such as Lake Mutirikwi have spilled due an increase of rain patterns witnessed during the last two weeks.
