Defender Isheanesu Mauchi has elected to continue his marriage with Simba Bhora after his envisaged move to South African side, TS Galaxy, fell through.
The lanky Warriors man’s deal looked to have been done and dusted, but some logistical issues popped up resulting in his return home.
Yet it was CAPS United who were expected to land him as he had penned a pre-contract with them.
The agreement was that he would play for the Green Machine in the event that his move to South Africa failed to materialise.
CAPS United president Farai Jere revealed a fortnight ago that Mauchi was literally their player once his deal to South Africa collapsed.
But Mauchi has decided to stay put at the 2024 PSL champions.
“Mauchi hasn’t signed any agreement with Simba Bhora but all the necessary negotiations have been completed.
“He has decided not to move to any other local club,” said his camp.
