Former ZANU-PF Chegutu West MP, Dexter Nduna, has been arrested for obstruction of justice.
Nduna was expected to appear in court on Wednesday after allegedly threatening a Messenger of Court who was trying to seize his property over an unpaid debt of US$41,000.
The former lawmaker was held at Kadoma Central Police Station under case number Cr43/1/26.
He reportedly blocked the Messenger of Court from attaching his Toyota Fortuner, as ordered by the court.
When the Messenger tried to carry out the court order, Nduna allegedly threatened to release his dogs, forcing the officer to retreat. After the incident, the Messenger left the scene.
Nduna later filed a counter-report against the Messenger of Court at the same police station.
