The Mega 8 All Night Prayer Gospel Crusade which was a huge success is still the talk of many, a week after experiencing a massive crowd..with over 40 000 people attending at Glamis Arena last Friday (3 October).
The event brought artists and men of cloth from as far as Nigeria and also local artists and pastors.To put the icing on the cake, 12 countries participated at the huge gospel crusade.
Who is the person behind this Mega event?It’s Prophetess Memory Matimbire.
Prophetess Memory Matimbire has several silverware in her cabinet ,she was honoured at the 2024 Prestigious Annual Predecessors Awards (PAPA) held in Midrand, South Africa.
The awards ceremony ran under the theme, “Succession-Securing Tomorrow Today”. The award recognised Prophetess Matimbire’s exceptional contributions to leadership, empowerment and prayer, impacting over 800 000 followers across 21 countries.
An encounter with God changed the course of her life as it bore a passion for praying in the mountains, making her a pioneering revival vessel in Zimbabwe and yonder. Through her commitment to prayer and empowerment, a new generation of leaders has been inspired to strive for excellence
Earlier this year she also was recognized by Women World Wide Do Dubai 2025 for her remarkable work in raising women in the area of prayer.
In July 2025, she was recognized as an Outstanding Woman in Faith-based leadership of the 2025 at the Megafest National Women’s Business Awards.The award is a testament to her unwavering faith, tireless dedication and exceptional leadership.
Another award in her cabinet is the WAI legacy award presented to her for her service in the kingdom of god .
These awards, therefore, does not only add plume to her cap, but also testifies to Prophetess Matimbire’s tireless efforts to raise an altar of prayer in every individual, regardless of race, colour, or creed.
