The Passengers Association of Zimbabwe (PAZ) has brought to light the deplorable situation in Kadoma, where passengers face challenges due to inadequate public toilet facilities.
In a statement, PAZ said although there is a pay toilet across from Bulawayo Road, the busy road poses a significant risk to passengers who need to cross it to access the facility.
PAZ said they question the rationale behind buses paying vouchers when their clients do not have access to basic amenities like public toilets. “We urge the Kadoma City Council to prioritize the provision of clean, accessible and well-maintained public toilet facilities that are strategically located to minimize risks to passengers, thereby improving the overall passenger experience,” PAZ said.
