HARARE — Makumbe Hilltop College will host an Open Day on 08 August 2026 as it opens enrolment for Form 1 and Form 5 learners for the 2027 academic year.
The event will be held at the school’s campus at the 46km peg along Domboshava Road, and is intended to give prospective parents and learners an opportunity to tour the facilities, meet teachers, and complete registration.
Established in 2024, the college operates under the motto Vincere Caritate, meaning “To Conquer with Love”. It offers both Cambridge International Education and ZIMSEC examination streams.
Speaking ahead of the event, Director and Founder Mr Mutizwa said the Open Day was designed to bring parents and the school community closer.
“We established Makumbe Hilltop College to shape lives and inspire excellence. This Open Day gives parents a chance to meet our certified teachers, tour our modern facilities, and register their children with confidence. The free uniform promotion is our way of supporting families as we prepare for 2027,” Mr Mutizwa said.
According to information released by the school, the Open Day programme will include a school tour, sessions with facilitators, on-site registration, and discussions on curriculum and student welfare. The college will also showcase its fleet of branded buses and vans used for learner transport.
The registration fee has been set at $100. To encourage early enrolment, the school is offering one free set of uniform to learners who register during the Open Day.
The college highlights experienced and certified teachers, a comprehensive academic curriculum, small class sizes, modern learning facilities, and a focus on social and emotional learning as key aspects of its offering. School authorities say small classes allow for more individual attention and closer monitoring of learners.

Located 46.5km along Domboshava Road in Harare, Makumbe Hilltop College says it is preparing to expand enrolment as it enters its third year of operation.
