KADOMA— At Mini Trabablas Shopping Complex, a thunderous message is rising from Zimbabweans returning from South Africa: “We love peace, not protests. Zimbabwe is not like South Africa—it is better.”
The returnees, now rebuilding their lives through buying and selling, spoke with one powerful voice: They are saying a resounding NO TO THE 31ST JULY 2026 PROTEST.
“We are peace lovers. We left home to search for green pastures and found only heartache. Now we are back home, and look—real green pastures await us. Demonstrations will destroy everything we are painstakingly building,” declared one returnee.
Gratitude to Leadership That Cares
In one thunderous voice, the returnees showered profound gratitude upon His Excellency President Cde Dr. ED Mnangagwa—the visionary leader who opened the door wide for their return and created an environment where they can rebuild their lives with dignity. “He is a father who welcomes his children home. Under his leadership, Zimbabwe is rising, and we are proud to be part of this rebirth,” they said.
They also deeply appreciated the extraordinary benevolence of Cde Jimayi Muduvuri, who is tirelessly using his own resources to help them stand again.
“They take groceries in the morning and pay back in the evening. This is my small way of helping returnees reintegrate into society,” said Cde Muduvuri.
“Cde ED is a doer—not a talker. The systematic efforts to recolonise Zimbabwe through third forces will never succeed. Calling for protests is nothing short of treason against the progress we are all witnessing.”
The Second Republic Is Delivering—Boldly
Cde Muduvuri highlighted that the transformation under the Second Republic speaks in deeds, not words. He pointed to the earmarked 35,000 tractors for Village Business Units—just one of countless projects revolutionising rural and urban livelihoods. Jobs, roads, energy, and social support programmes are all undeniable testimony: Zimbabwe is marching forward under servant leadership that puts people first.
The returnees said they are in awe of the developments happening at home.
“We deeply regret the years we wasted wandering in the wilderness of South Africa. Now we are here to stand up and be counted—to put our shoulders to the wheel and help build Zimbabwe, following the bold footsteps of His Excellency Cde Dr. ED Mnangagwa. And we take our cue from Cde Jimayi Muduvuri, who has given us unparalleled support and shown us what true patriotism looks like,” they said with conviction.
Ambassador of Hope Perspective
As Ambassador of Hope, I have walked with these returnees, heard their tears, and witnessed their transformation. The lesson is undeniable: protests bring poverty; peace brings prosperity. I have seen with my own eyes how the Second Republic’s policies—from Village Business Units to road infrastructure—are turning dusty dreams into daily realities.
Let me be blunt: those calling for chaos on 31 July are enemies of your own pocket. Every hour spent on the streets is an hour stolen from your family’s future. The returnees have already paid the price of wandering; they now teach us the value of staying home and building.
I encourage all Zimbabweans to MAKE MONEY, NOT NOISE.
Fill your hands with goods, not stones. Let your bank accounts grow, not your anger. Support the leader who has opened the gates for investment and growth—His Excellency Cde Dr. ED Mnangagwa. Under his watch, the wilderness is becoming a garden. Do not let anyone set it ablaze.
THE MESSAGE IS CRYSTAL CLEAR:
