Hunyani Constituency will host a two-day sports festival from October 31 to November 1, 2026, featuring five sporting disciplines, according to information contained in the festival organisers’ promotional material.
The Hunyani Constituency Sports Festival will be held at the Hunyani Constituency Community Sports Grounds and will feature soccer, netball, pool, darts and chess.
According to the organisers, the festival will bring together 101 teams for a total of 206 matches, with the event open to all teams and spectators.
The organisers said registration for participating teams closes on October 15, 2026, with enquiries being handled through the contact numbers provided on the promotional material.
The event is being sponsored by Tonganyika Trust, while Hon Tongai Mafidi Mnangagwa is listed as the patron and guest of honour.
The festival is expected to provide a platform for community members to participate in sport while promoting the development and identification of sporting talent within Hunyani Constituency.
