ZPCS Midlands Province has won the Overall Best Home Industry Award at the Gweru Agricultural Show, which ran from 13 to 16 August 2026.
The province, participating under the theme “Value Addition, the Key to Competitiveness”, also secured first-place positions in machine sewing/hand sewing and pottery through Shurugwi Female Prison.
Shurugwi Female Prison also placed third in the peanut butter category, while Connemara secured third positions in machine sewing/hand sewing and basketry.
In the Uniformed Forces category, the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) Midlands Province secured third position.
The Overall Best Home Industry Award was won by ZPCS Midlands Province under Shurugwi Female Prison.
