HARARE – Musician and entrepreneur Mudiwa Hood officially launched his latest book, _How to Make Money in the Shortest Time Possible_, at the Hyatt Regency in Harare on Saturday, with a room full of high-profile guests turning it into a multi-hundred-thousand-dollar affair.

The event drew support from business, politics, entertainment and the church, with several guests making major pledges for copies of the publication.

According to details from the launch, Prophet Uebert Angel bought the book for $99,000, while businessman Dr. Philip Chiyangwa pledged $100,000. Legislator Hon. Chamu Chiwanza committed $25,000, businessman Allen Sibanda $10,000, and musician Jah Prayzah $5,000.

Property developer Ken Sharpe, through WestProp Holdings, went further and gifted Mudiwa Hood a house.

Mudiwa Hood, who has built a profile as both an artist and entrepreneur, said the book is aimed at sharing practical wealth-building strategies and inspiring Zimbabweans to create income in a short space of time.

The turnout and pledges underscored the influence of the launch, which brought together figures from different sectors to back the project.

Total cash pledges for the book at the event came to $239,000, excluding the value of the house from WestProp Holdings.
