DOMBOSHAVA — Perched on the top of the mountain in Domboshava, Makumbe Hilltop College is carving out a reputation as an up to standard, modern boarding school that blends strong academics with a wide range of extracurricular activities.
The college, which offers both day and boarding facilities, has invested in classrooms, science labs, ICT infrastructure, and sports facilities to meet current education standards.
Director Mr. Mutizwa said the goal has been to give learners in Domboshava and beyond access to quality education in a safe, disciplined environment.

Form 3 student Tatenda said boarding at Makumbe Hilltop has improved his focus.
“Being on campus means we have time for prep, for sports, and for clubs. It keeps us busy in a good way,” he said.
Ordinary Level student Ruvimbo said the location on the mountain creates a calm learning environment.
“The air is fresh, the views are beautiful, and it feels like a place where you can really concentrate on your studies,” she said.
