The Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) in collaboration with the Postal and Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) is from 6 to 23 November,2025 conducting the household data collection exercise for the 2025 ICT access by households and use by individuals survey.
In a statement, Ronald Chiringa,Acting Manager, Public Relations and Communication, the survey is collecting data on household access to, and individuals use of lCTs inorder to measure the digital divide across and within provinces. Chiringa said the objective of the survey include establishing the access levels of lCTs by households, determining levels of usage of lCTs by individuals, identifying impediments to ICTs access and use by households and to determine the changes in access and usage of lCTs by households and individuals across time.
Chiringa said during the exercise, ZIMSTAT Enumerators will visit all households within selected enumeration areas across the country. He said the Enumerators will also carry official identification letters to authenticate their identity.
