HARARE – From soldier to celebrated broadcaster and now prophet, Leonard Katsangu ‘Macamarada’s’ divine journey has taken him beyond Zimbabwe’s borders, cementing his status as one of the country’s most prominent radio personalities turned apostolic church leaders.
Known to millions as Macamarada on Radio Zimbabwe, Prophet Katsangu is famed for his unique gift – “The 5-Minute Zimbabwe Shout-Out”.
“In just 5 minutes, he touches every corner of Zimbabwe,” a feat that made him a household name, as no other presenter can mention all corners of the country in five minutes.
After receiving his calling, Prophet Leonard embarked on a divine mission that has seen him minister in four African nations under the banner – THE DIVINE JOURNEY Across Africa.
In South Africa, where his Radio Zimbabwe voice was already known in the diaspora, he preached peace and unity, healing broken families in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
In Kenya, the land of great prophets, he stood as a Zimbabwean ambassador, sharing the message of Jowani Masowe with powerful miracles reported.
In Tanzania, he walked in the footsteps of East African revivalists, spreading the gospel of love and tolerance.
And in neighbouring Zambia, his core message of Ida Anokuda – love one another – built bridges across the Zambezi.
Prophet Macamarada’s transition from the barracks to the broadcasting studio and now to the pulpit is being celebrated by followers as a testimony of God taking His servant beyond borders to preach unity, love and healing.
