Zimbabwe National Organisation of Associations and Residents Trust (ZNOART), Delta Beverages, Young Africa Zimbabwe, the National Men’s Forum and the Albino Charity Chengaose Organisation of Zimbabwe joined Chitungwiza Municipality for the National Clean-Up Day, observed on the first Friday of every month.
The clean-up targeted paGomba, Chirenje, Chirasavana and Chigovanyika shopping centres, reinforcing the shared commitment to a clean and healthy environment.
Meanwhile, the Environmental Management Agency (EMA) has urged the public to dispose of waste responsibly and keep roads, public spaces and commemorative venues litter-free during the Heroes and Defence Forces Day holidays.
Public transport operators have also been encouraged to provide litter bins in their vehicles.
Chitungwiza Municipality thanks all stakeholders and residents for supporting the monthly clean-up campaign.
