HARARE — Dancehall artist Jeffarai brought the house down at PaTawaz Bar, Restaurant & Butchery on Friday night, as hundreds of patrons turned out for the Bashment Farayidays event in the heart of Harare’s CBD.

The event, held at the corner of Rotten Row and Union Avenue opposite ZANU PF Headquarters, featured live performances from Jeffarai alongside sets from DJ Bash, i Major, and Ghecko. From food and shisha to live music and drinks, the night blended entertainment with the venue’s signature social vibe.

PaTawaz management said the turnout reflected the venue’s growing reputation as a go-to spot for Harare’s nightlife.

“Jeffarai thrilled the patrons from start to finish. The energy was unmatched, and it’s why PaTawaz continues to stand out as the best bar and restaurant in Harare CBD,” said Sashaa, PaTawaz manager. “This is the kind of experience we want to keep giving our customers every Friday.”

The venue, owned by Honourable Chisasa, popularly known as Tawaz, has positioned itself as “The Social Place” for food, music, shisha, and booze. Friday’s event was curated by The Unshakable Shakers.

Patrons described the night as lively, with Jeffarai’s performance keeping the crowd engaged well into the night. Many said they were already looking forward to the next edition of Bashment Farayidays.

PaTawaz says it plans to host more live acts and themed nights in the coming weeks to keep the momentum going in the CBD nightlife scene.
