“The appointment represents an opportunity for the Zimbabwean leader to strengthen regional trade, accelerate economic growth and attract investment,” Rusike said.

He expressed optimism that President Mnangagwa’s new regional responsibility would contribute towards Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 goal of attaining an upper-middle-income society, while creating opportunities for the development of various economic sectors.
Rusike said Go Beer Breweries remained committed to supporting initiatives that promote local development, empower communities and improve livelihoods across the country.

“As Go Beer, we remain steadfast in supporting all initiatives that promote and empower local development, as well as uplifting the livelihoods of youths, women and disadvantaged groups, alongside the economic emancipation of all communities,” he said.

He added that the company wished President Mnangagwa success in discharging his new regional responsibilities and advancing regional integration.
“Once again, a big congratulations to Your Excellency on this regional responsibility bestowed upon you. We wish you success in advancing regional integration and a prosperous Great Zimbabwe,” Rusike said.
