Proud Ncube (25) and Welcom Ndlovu (24) are in soup after they assaulted a miner before stealing his money.
The matter came to light at Plumtree magistrates Court, where they appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
The state led by Sheila Nyathi alleged that on January 16, the complainant was coming from his hammer mill at King Riches mine in Matobo when he met his assailants.
They assaulted him with an unknown object, and he fell down.
The duo grabbed his bag, which had cash and gold ore and they varnished.
He filed a police report the next day and the police managed to arrest the two.
