Christ in Action International Ministries has embarked on a journey to bring smiles to the less fortunate during this Christmas festive season as part of the church’s mission to serve others.

The church’s founder Apostle Trevor King said as people celebrate the gift of Jesus Christ they should not forget that there are the less privileged in society who should also be remembered.

“As a church we are moving from just concentrating on gospel crusades, prayers and deliverances but also remembering that there are others in society who are less privileged than us,”King said.

“In fact the true gospel of Christ requires action and not just talk hence as Christ in Action International Ministries we are putting smiles on the faces of the needy this Christmas season.

“This is part of our church’s mission to serve the community and indeed giving back to the community is the greatest gift of love one can show as a christian.”

King said his wife, Shanashe King recently donated kitchen utensils to women in a bid to brighten up their kitchens during this festive season.

“The Christmas spirit is a season of appreciation and giving and Mama Shanashe King as leader of the Champion Ladies of Christ in Action International Ministries exemplified this by distributing brand new gas stoves and microwaves to those in need,”he said.

“Christmas is indeed a season of giving and blessing others.

“We pray for the capacity to expand our outreach empowering thousands in the coming years.”

Christ in Action International Ministries church’s influence has not only been in communities in the country.

King has previously travelled to Asian countries including Hong Kong, India among others where he has imparted deliverance to many through gospel crusades.
