Sinach, a renowned Nigerian gospel singer

Sinach a renowned Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter and senior worship leader with over 30 years off experience in ministry will be in Zimbabwe soon to perform at Interdenominational Today’s woman conference.
Born Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu on March 30, 1972, in Afikpo South, Ebonyi State, Nigeria, Sinach is a key member of the LoveWorld music team of Christ Embassy.
Here notable achievements include first African to top the Billboard Christian Songwriters chart. Sinach was the first African artist to top the Billboard Christian Songwriters chart for 12 weeks in a row.
Other achievements include the Global hit Way Maker. Her song “Way Maker” won Song of the Year at the 51st GMA Dove Awards, making her the first Nigerian to win this award.
On international tours and collaborations, Sinach has performed in over 50 countries and her songs have been covered by over 60 Christian artists like Michael W. Smith and Bethel Music.Sinach is married to Joseph Egbu, a pastor at Christ Embassy.
Sinach’s music can be found on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube, where she has over 1.8 million subscribers and 640 million views.
ZAOGA church will from 4 to 6 September, 2025 host the today’s woman Interdenominational conference at Glamis Arena in Harare focused on empowering and inspiring women from all walks of line in Zimbabwe.
According to Dr Larvene Simukai, Today’s Woman Conference Director, speaking on behalf of ZAOGA Church Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti, they are calling on all women from all walks of life in Zimbabwe to come and participate at the Interdenominational women’s conference. She said the conference will host local and international speakers who will present on issues that affect women and children.
She said some of the issues to be covered will include women’s health, mental health, drug and substance abuse, marriage issues, how to handle children with special needs, business including healing and deliverance issues, just to mention a few. Dr Simukai said the conference will also a women and leadership meeting open to women in leadership and other interested partners, a talent show to be held on 4 September to identify talent. The show will include singing and dancing and other activities. She also said there will be a pre-conference dinner focusing on women in business from any denomination. Dr Simukai said there will also be entertainment with renowned Nigerian Gospel singer, Sinach to grace the conference. The corporate sector has been also been called upon to partner with the organizers to host the conference.
