The villagers told The Blast that over the years, they had been facing the challenge which is still to be addressed.
“Our area is not a remote one..its closer to Mubaira-52 highway. The challenge we are facing is that at times we fail to communicate easily with relatives in other parts of the country due to bad cellular network connectivity,”said a villager.
The business community at Rwizi business centre also called for a remedial action to be carried out.
“Its true that there is bad connectivity in our area and obviously this impacts negatively on our operations as the business community.
We are appealing to authorities to erect an additional booster as a remedy,”said a bussinessman who requested anonymity.

“Maybe as a long term solution to the problem, a booster should be put in place in areas with higher gradient such as Matambo business center. This has become a perennial challenge that needs to be addressed.”
