Five armed robbers on Thursday (27 February) pounced on a company in Workington industrial area in Harare, getting away with $120 400.
Said Zimbabwe Republic Police :
“Police in Harare are investigating a case of robbery which occurred on 27 February at a company along Lytton Road, Workington. Five unknown suspects attacked a security guard who was on duty at the company before gaining entry into the offices where they stole USD 120 400.00 cash. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.”
In another case, police are investigating a murder case where a man was found dead with deep cut on the head, along Harare-Bulawayo road, Dzivarasekwa.
“Police in Harare are investigating circumstances surrounding a case of murder in which a yet to be identified man was found dead, with a deep cut on the head, in the grass along Harare-Bulawayo Road, Dzivarasekwa on 28 February. The victim was wearing a grey tracksuit with maroon stripes and underneath, he was wearing a black jean, black short with
yellow stripes, a dark green jacket and a white T shirt. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.”
Meanwhile police added:
“Police in Harare are investigating a case of infanticide in which the body of a newly born baby boy was found floating in Prince Edward Dam, Charingwati Village, Seke on 28 February. The body was wrapped with a white cloth and was stashed in a bag. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.”
