The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) said the country’s major dams have reached an average of 91.1 percent
capacity following rains that are falling across the country.
Said ZINWA in a statement:

“Zimbabwe’s national dam storage average now stands at 91.1%, with several major dams at or near full capacity following continued rainfall activity.

“This positive outlook supports domestic supply, agriculture, and industrial water needs across the country.”
As at 23 February the country’s largest inland dam, Tugwi Mukosi was at 100 percent capacity, Lake Mutirikwi , 100 percent, Manyame, 82,5 percent, Osborne, 71.7 percent, Mazvikadeyi, 67.2 Manyuchi, 99.5 percent, Manjerenji, 91.9 percent, Sebakwe, 93.6 percent, Chivero, 78.3 percent, Insiza, 51.7 Zvovhe, 100 percent, Siya , 100 percent and Inyankuni, 19.9 percent among major dams.
