The Buy Local Conference championed by Buy Zimbabwe is set to take place at the Harare International Conference Centre on 19 March 2006, running under the the theme “Lowering Zimbabwe’s import Bill driving local Industrial Growth”.
For the past few months Buy Zimbabwe team have been tirelessly preparing for this event reaching out to local manufacturers, and entrepreneurs.
In an interview with Buy Zimbabwe Marketing Executive Mr Alois Burutsa said the mission is to promote the importance of buying local products and to showcase the incredible talent and creativity that thrived within Zimbabwe’s borders.
Alois Burutsa added that the conference aims unite consumers businesses and policymakers in a collective effort to strengthen the local economy.
The Key Note speaker at the upcoming Buy Local Conference will be the Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda.
The Buy Local conference will be graced by CEOs from influencial entities such as Mutapa Investment Fund, Arda, Zimplats, Teecherz Home and Furnitures, Saint Gobein.
Local companies are encouraged to attend the conference to create economic relations for the companies within Zimbabwe.
