Vimbai Sthandwa Zvenyika (09/05/1983 – 08/02/26), a dedicated Nurse Aide and Disability Care Worker, left an indelible mark on our community.
Her passion for helping others, compassion in family counseling, and respect for the families we served were truly inspiring. Vimbai was a team player who embodied the spirit of Community Based Rehabilitation.
Her love for her children, Daniel, Danielle, and Dania, and her family was evident in all she did.
Even in her final days, Vimbai’s dedication to her work never wavailed. Despite struggling with her health, she ensured her patients received the care they needed, following up on their well-being with characteristic compassion. In our last conversations, she was more worried about her patients receiving the care they needed than her own health struggles. Her legacy of compassion and dedication will continue to inspire us.
We’ll remember her selflessness, kindness, and dedication to making a difference. Rest in peace, dear Vimbai .
