MUDODODO hit-maker Taruvinga Majokoto, popularly known as Sugar Sugar, has turned up the heat ahead of the Mvurwi Munhumutapa Day celebrations, calling on Zimbabweans to flood the Mashonaland Central town on September 15 for President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s birthday bash.
The flamboyant musician said Zimbabwe was a blessed country and urged people to put on their dancing shoes and join the celebrations.
Majokoto, whose Mudododo hit has taken the music scene by storm, cheekily declared that “mudododo” was all about money, adding an entertaining twist to his invitation.
“Our president should live long. Everything is moving smoothly in Zimbabwe, so the President should live,” Sugar Sugar said.
The musician said the celebrations would provide an opportunity for Zimbabweans to come together, enjoy music and celebrate Mnangagwa’s birthday.
With Mvurwi bracing for a festive takeover, Sugar Sugar’s call is expected to add further excitement to an event that is set to attract music lovers and residents from across the provinces.
