Harare – Gospel acapella ministry Firm Faith Zimbabwe marked two decades of music ministry last night with a celebration at Hippodrome, Braeside, drawing members, supporters, and gospel fans to reflect on the group’s journey since formation.
Founded in Harare and rooted in the Adventist tradition, Firm Faith has become known for soul-stirring harmonies and tracks like _Ngena Noah_, _Gare Gare_, and _Whispering Hope_. The group currently has over 16,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with Whispering Hope surpassing 427,000 streams.
The 20th anniversary event came as Firm Faith continues to release new material. Recent works include the albums _Munesimba_ and _Muumbi Wehari_ (both 2024) and _Shoko Rengirozi Nhatu_ (2022), alongside singles _Tsitsi Dzenyu Ngadziuye_ (2025) and _What Heaven Means to Me_ (2026).
Founding member Marshall Matsilele addressed the gathering at Hippodrome, Braeside, reflecting on the ministry’s growth from its early days to its current reach across streaming platforms, YouTube, and live performances. He thanked the church, fans, and families who have supported Firm Faith over the past 20 years.
The group’s music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud, with official videos and live performances hosted on the Firm Faith Music YouTube channel. Updates and tour information are posted on their Facebook page @firm.faithzim.
Firm Faith said the Hippodrome celebration was both a milestone and a launchpad for the next chapter of their ministry.
