Gweru City Parking Board has received a major boost after one of its board members, Dr Simon Muzviyo graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management, a development the Midlands capital based parking management company said would enhance its commitment to provide quality service delivery and good governance.
Dr Muzviyo who is also Harare based City Parking Managing Director was conferred with the doctorate at a recent graduation ceremony at the University of Zambia.
In a congratulatory message Gweru City Parking said Dr Muzviyo’s milestone achievement and success was an inspiration to the company.
“As a valued member of the Gweru City Parking Board, your academic success brings pride to our organisation and strengthens our collective commitment to good governance and service excellence,”said Gweru City Parking.
The City Parking Board and Management also called the academic achievement, “a testament to his dedication, intellectual rigor, and visionary leadership.”
“This incredible academic milestone is a testament to your dedication, intellectual rigor and visionary leadership,”City Parking said in a statement.
“Your exemplary leadership has driven the organisation forward. Your profound scholarly prowess is inspiring.”
Dr Muzviyo’s PhD thesis focused on “The effect of innovation on financial performance of firms listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.”
The City Parking boss is credited among other things, recently leading his company to ISO 9001:2015 certification as part of its broader modernisation drive and overseeing technological upgrades among other achievements.
Meanwhile the Institute of Corporate Directors of Zimbabwe (ICDZ) also issued a congratulatory message on Dr Muzviyo’s PhD attainment.
“Your dedication, hard work and commitment to excellence continue to inspire many,”ICDZ said.
“This remarkable achievement is a true testament to your vision, leadership, and passion for professional growth.
“Wishing you continued success as you lead, inspire, and make an even greater impact in the business world and beyond.”
