Gweru City Parking General Manager Alphanette Gemu has been appointed to the Zimbabwe board asset management company, Smartvest Wealth Managers Board bringing a wealth of urban management experience to the private investment space.
In a congratulatory message the parking management company said Gemu’s elevation to the Smartvest board was a sign of confidence in his leadership capabilities.

Smartvest Wealth Managers is an independent asset management company fully licenced by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe and registered under licence number LR235/2023.
According to Smartvest’s official website the organisation has over 29 years experience creating wealth for a wide range of investors including corporate, institutional and individuals.
The company said its clients include insurance companies, pension and provident funds, charitable organisations, other corporate bodies and high net-worth individuals as well as the general public among others.

The significant development in Gemu’s leadership career also follows his graduation as a professional director.
In a statement on professional social media platform LinkedIn, the Institute of Corporate Directors of Zimbabwe confirmed the achievement.
“The Professional Director Certification Program Canada and the Institute of Corporate Directors Zimbabwe (ICDZ) would like to congratulate you (Gemu) on completing, graduating and earning your Professional Director Designation,”said ICDZ.
