In a powerful statement, Ambassador Tamer Almassri condemned the relentless bombardment of Gaza by Israeli forces which has tragically resulted in the death of 51 Palestinians including 6 children and several Police officers .
Ambassador Dr Tarmer Almassri calls for an immediate end to the violence. “The people in Gaza deserve more than a pause in violence; they deserve a genuine, permanent ceasefire,” he declared.
The death toll since October 2023 has reached staggering numbers – 71,795 Palestinians killed and 171,551 injured. “This horrendous violence is a continued violation of the established ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip,” Almassri stated, emphasizing the need for accountability.
Speaking to the international community, Almassri urged action beyond statements.
“We demand an immediate end to this genocidal war, a total cessation of ceasefire violations, and a definitive end to the occupation.” His words echoed a pressing question: will the world act to protect Palestinian lives?
As tensions escalate, Almassri’s message remains clear – the people of Gaza deserve peace, and it’s time for it to be more than just a pause.
