The Palestine Embassy in Zimbabwe has further condemned the continued genocide by lsrael saying at least 76 000 Palestinian citizens have been killed in the past two years in Gaza.

The remarks were made at an international solidarity day of the Palestinian people hosted by the Palestine Embassy in Harare at Theater in the Park in Harare gardens. The event was attended by Zimbabwean citizens who showed solidarity with the Palestinian people to the gratitude of Palestinian Ambassador to Zimbabwe,Tamer Almassri on 15 October,2025.

The event was also on marked by a sterling performance by Zambuko/Izibuko (River Crossings),a political artists group which showcased a play depicting the current ongoing situation in Gaza. Zambuko is a political theater group which was active in the early days after independence when South Africa was still under the shadow of apartheid. It is reported that at least 20 000 children are missing in Gaza. The play showcased by Zambuko is called “Genocide.”

Ambassador Almassri said to date at least 170 000 Palestinians have been injured and 95 percent infrastructure destroyed. He said schools have been destroyed and bombed in Gaza and there is no more any education. He said hospitals have also been destroyed in Gaza.

The Ambassador said the genocide will continue into another generation. He also said that on Tuesday seven Palestinians were killed and Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu is promising genocide despite efforts for ceasefire by some administrations.
