Freedom Fighters for Change president Michael Makaza has urged Zimbabweans to remain focused on the broader struggle for transformation, warning against celebrating divisions within the ruling Zanu PF party.

In a bold media statement issued on Wednesday, Makaza cautioned citizens not to allow themselves to be distracted by the ruling party’s succession battles.

“Fellow citizens, let’s not be distracted by the infighting within Zanu PF. Our focus should be on our collective victory, not their internal struggles. We must remain steadfast in our pursuit of a better Zimbabwe,” he said.

Makaza emphasized that the Freedom Fighters for Change movement remains committed to delivering meaningful reforms for the people.

“As Freedom Fighters for Change, our mission is clear: to bring about real change and freedom to our nation. Let’s not be swayed by the politics of succession; let’s stay focused on our goal,” he added.

He further urged unity among citizens, stressing that ordinary Zimbabweans hold the power to reshape the country’s future.

“We are the ones who will shape Zimbabwe’s future. Let’s march forward together, united in our quest for change. #WeMove, and together, we will achieve our vision for a brighter Zimbabwe. I thank you!” Makaza declared.

The statement comes at a time when internal conflicts within Zanu PF have dominated the political landscape, sparking widespread speculation about the party’s future direction.
