According to sources, Sekuru Nyangatayani’s trip was a huge success, with him making significant strides in promoting Zimbabwe’s traditional medicine practices and exploring potential investment opportunities. Upon his return, Sekuru Nyangatayani was greeted with a warm welcome.

The Role of Traditional Medical Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (TMPCZ)

The Traditional Medical Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (TMPCZ) played a crucial role in enabling Sekuru Nyangatayani to attend the Hong Kong International Chinese Medicine and Traditional Medicine Conference 2025. Speaking on the sidelines of Sekuru Nyangatayani’s return, the President of TMPCZ, Mr. George Kandiero, said, “TMPCZ is a regulatory body mandated by the Government of Zimbabwe under the Ministry of Health and Child Care to register, license, regulate, control, supervise, and promote the practice of traditional medical activities in Zimbabwe.”

Some of the key functions of TMPCZ include:

– Registration and Licensing: Registering and licensing traditional healers to ensure they meet the required standards.
– Training and Education: Providing training and education programs for traditional healers to enhance their skills.
