The Zimbabwe National Boxing and Wrestling Control Board (ZNBWCB) has appointed Priscila Kadungure as its new Chief Executive Officer and General Secretary.
Kadungure is well-regarded for her experience in combat sports and her strong commitment to developing sporting talent in Zimbabwe. Her appointment is seen as a strategic move aimed at improving the environment for athletes competing both locally and internationally.
In a statement, the board expressed optimism about Kadungure’s leadership, saying her professionalism and passion are expected to help advance the sport across the country.
“We are confident that her dedication and expertise will propel the organisation to new heights and uplift combat sports in Zimbabwe,” the statement said.
The board called on all stakeholders, including athletes, to support Kadungure as she assumes her new position.
