Police in Goromonzi are investigating a suspected murder case where a 34 year old man was found floating in Hunyani dam.
Said Zimbabwe Republic Police in a Statement:
” Police in Goromonzi are investigating circumstances surrounding a suspected case of murder in which Nelson Kaingidza (34) was found dead floating in Hunyani Dam at Maikoro Farm on Friday (23 May). The victim had marks on the legs suggesting a foul play.
The victim had gone missing on 19 May after leaving home for prayer and fasting at the farm.”
In another murder case, a 33 year old Inyati man was found dead floating in Mwarazi river on 23 May.
” In another case of murder, Shepherd Mashava (33) was found dead floating in Mwarazi River, Inyati on 23 May.
The victim had gone missing on 17 May after being assaulted by James George following an argument over braai meat at a sports bar at Chinyudze Business Centre, Inyati. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.”
Meanwhile The ZRP confirmed a sad incident in which a toddler, Anna Taibva (one year five months ) drowned in an open well in Ushewekunze, Harare on 23 May l. The incident occurred while the victim was playing near the well and her mother was watering the garden.
