Zifa president, Nqobile Magwizi, who in a bid to settle into the job, has been burning himself in order to keep a selected few warm, as the damning audio in possession of The Page, can reveal.
In the audio of the Exco meeting, it can be revealed that Magwizi ceded the power to his deputy Ken Ndebele, whose power to veto all other members’ decisions and suggestions has divided the house.
In fact, it has destroyed all the goodwill this new Exco, in which Ndebele was an accidental compromise, had. The assembly didn’t want Omega Sibanda and Peter Dube, the other candidates.
Ndebele got the protest votes and he knows. Magwizi, whose football knowledge is negligible needs to be rescued from himself.
The damning audio that recorded the meeting reveal specifics of the inside trade of the Exco.
Ndebele, Thomas Marambanyika and Alice Zeure are vocal that the the members of assembly who voted them in on January 25, should all go for election.
That they have no power and can not legally call them to order. The trio have also now managed to swallow Kudzi Kadzombe to their side.
Ndebele is bullying Tafadzwa Benza, Wadzanai Mukura and Davidson Muchena, so much that any suggestion from the trio is thrown out.
Both Ndebele and Marambanyika say that they can not have a Benza dynasty in the top echelons of the game.
They allege Hon Innocent Benza, is ankling to become a PSL chairperson, a position that will see him join the Exco.
For that reason, the trio of Ndebele, Marambanyika and Zeure are saying PSL and Women football should not have elections, without the crowding of the rest of the members, as that could bring Hon Benza in the PSL chairperson seat.
The sheepish Magwizi is heard on the audio arguing against doing things that are unconstitutional, to which Zeure responded: “Nhai president which councillor do you think read the Constitution, let alone understand that specifically crafted document? “.
Brighton Ushendibaba didn’t attend that meeting as he has several others, since becoming an Exco member.
The plot is to remove him and Ndebele described him as useless and unavailable.
But what is disturbing is that The Page has established that the Guptas are back in full element as the duo of Ndebele and Marambanyika share the notes, so much that they know who funded the spurious Magwizi and Michael Nees trip to the UK.
It is so ominous that Sweeney Mushonga and Martin Kweza know everything that is happening but Ushendibaba, Muchena, Benza and Mukura are kept in the dark.
So, who is in charge of the game? Does this explain why Ndebele has been allowed the freedom of the country with referees, even if the referees committee is complaining daily?
Interestingly, Magwizi is heard being advised that he should not listen to named members of the assembly in the southern and eastern regions as they’re as poisonous as The Page.
As if obedient to the call, Magwizi has not responded to questions on who sponsored the UK trip, because it was not a Zifa proposal, nor did the FA pay a single dim?
Why is an external cartel responsible for paying the cost of the exercise that should give rise to a national team?
Is the England FA involved in the deal? What is their interest? And why? How is the exercise going to become a Zifa thing and yet they were not involved?

Zifa will next month take delivery of FIFA officials to work at the FA, as clearly Yvonne Manwa, can not manage.
The proposed financial audit of the Normalization Committee books will no longer take place, but The Page can reveal that Magwizi agreed to that.
But all the monies due to Zifa, covering the period of suspension and NC, will not be released as the money was all used, despite FIFA categorically telling the world in July 2023 that all the 5.0 monies due to Zifa for the 2018-2022, will only be released to an elected Exco
Yet, the arrival of the Magwizi Exco is to an empty bank. Who ate the money released during the NC? Is it why the audit was stopped?
Well, what is clear is that Gupta-lites in the Exco have captured Magwizi who is slowly being led to the slaughter.
According to the new Zifa Constitution, this Exco is operating illegally, as there is no assembly because Ndebele, Marambanyika and Zeure argue that they have no locus standi.
Yet the same Exco is there because of the same assembly they now denigrate and all promises that Magwizi made are all forgotten.
Will the councillors continue to be treated like shit, as it happening now, while Magwizi and his divided Exco flap their arrogant wings to eternity?
