Highly rated goalkeeper, Nelson Chadya has left Madamburo after 8 years of loyalty service.
Read a statement he posted on his Facebook page, yesterday:
“Dear Ngezi Platinum Family
It’s been a great time to work with you all and making memories every day. As I take a moment to reflect on my time here at Ngezi Platinum Stars FC, I am filled with a mix of emotions. I take this opportunity to announce my departure from this incredible team.
The past 8 years spent working alongside each of you have been nothing short of remarkable. I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to collaborate, learn, and grow with such talented and dedicated teammates. Our collective achievements, shared challenges, and memorable moments have made my journey here truly enriching.
In my first year at Ngezi Platinum Stars FC, we won the Chibuku Super Cup. We did not lose hope because our biggest goal was to win the Castle Larger Premier League. Because of your support, I will not forget the year 2023 when Ngezi Platinum Stars FC won their first Castle Larger Premier League trophy. It was a dream come true for me, the club, and the fans. Adding the Castle Challenge Cup to our list of achievements as we did it as a team.
Winning goalkeeper of the year award in 2022, wearing the Ngezi Platinum Stars FC jersey, is probably one of the things I will never forget. Going on the calendar 2 times in a row, I could not do this alone, but thanks to my teammates and supporters, they gave us the strength to win.
Thank you, Ngezi Platinum Stars FC, for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me during my time at Madamburo. Although I am moving on, I will carry these precious memories with me. To the fans, thank you for the good times and sweet memories that we shared. You have been so supportive and hardworking .To the coach and the technical team, thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement. Your leadership has been truly inspiring. To my teammates, thank you for the good times we shared on the pitch. Continue to shine in carrying Madamburo to a higher level .”
